MCRI releases "Quota Quotables Trivia Game"

"It is time to recognize the apparent collaborative efforts of BAMN and OUM"

Lansing - Today Doug Tietz, Campaign Manager of the Michigan Civil Rights Initiative, announced the release of the "Quota Quotables Trivia Game".  Based on factual, accurately cited quotes the game player tries to guess whether a series of quotes are from either a spokesperson of By Any Means Necessary or One United Michigan.

The game was developed by the Michigan Civil Rights Initiative campaign to demonstrate the apparent collaboration and similarities between the groups BAMN and OUM.  During game testing even the most experienced campaign experts had difficulty differentiating between the quotes of By Any Means Necessary and One United Michigan.

In a January 11th 2004 Detroit News article By Any Means Necessary (BAMN) was called the 'shock troops' of OUM.  "My contention is that they aren't the shock troops they are the home guard," said Tietz.

"It is time we recognize the tag team efforts of BAMN and OUM.  Both of these groups are experts at sleaze-ball campaigning.  They will do and say anything to defend racial preferences," said Tietz.

"Just a quick perusal of the game's quotes leaves no doubt in my mind that these two groups are working hand in hand.  I don't know if they have joint coffee meetings on Tuesdays or if it is more formal dinner meetings but one thing is sure -- they are calling their plays from the same playbook," said Tietz.

The Michigan Civil Rights Initiative Committee (MCRI), a Michigan-based Ballot Question Committee, is dedicated to giving the people of Michigan the opportunity to end preferential treatment based on race, gender, ethnicity or national origin by state or local governments.  MCRI will make Michigan a place of equal opportunity for all, not a state that uses discrimination as a tool to create "diversity."  Achieving "diversity" should never be an excuse to discriminate!
